Lets here it.....132 vs 141 which Radio code works best with BBCM Notorious V5 Hybrid BlackberryOS, Addict, to much caffeine in the morning and to tired to really care!! But yea!

I haven't used both but I have the .132 BBC v.5 and I liked the .132 with BBC v.4. I wasn't too fond of .141 for the two days I had it.

Really? How's memory been holding for you? Hows the GPS, Internet, Reception, etc? Because from what noticed using 141 but this was with other hybrids I had massive memory leak, gps wouldnt hold and kept losing reception, phone would drop calls massively....but than again this is with V5 so it may have improved. idk :dunno:

I found the SFI for 132 to better for me. With 141 I had terrible volumes issues when using it with a BT.

I think the call quality is about the same on both. I found .132 to have a little better battery life but .141 started with and held a higher app memory.

I can't comment on the bluetooth but JL's not the first person I've heard complain about that.

.141 rocked my phone other than the QL issue. IMO if your going to hybrid the os to fix QL you might as well go all the way and pick the .141 V5. all problems solved plus a little extra!

Is this what you are running now? I am in the process of figuring out which OS is best and so far the latest haven't been my phone's favorite.

.109 was the best for me, and i always read good reviews on this, but also .132 has been good to many users as well, not sure if you have ran them, but maybe try a wipe before install if you dont, that can change how the phone is sometimes

The two best radios for me were 132 and 109. I like 109 but it was bit slow compared to 132. 132 on my phone gives me better signal strength and reception. Just my two cents.

.132 V5 (pl.162) has been awesome since it settled in. Took about 3 days. Signal is steady at 4-5 bars and usually -80 to -92db which is excellent. This is working so good I have no plans to try PL .174:beerchug:

I've noticed the same with .141 v5. I'm going to try the .132 v5 right now and hope for the best.

I am using .132 with GSM on ATT as reported in another thread. I have disabled my APN and using strictly BIS apps and all is wonderful. I have a better EDGE signal than ever before. I have only dropped to edge once in about 32 hours and that did require a reboot. Other than that, it has been a wonderful radio.

I went with the .122 Radio Code (package .153 I think) I've been running it for the last 2 days and battery life is amazing. Believe it or not, signal strength is better than both .132 and .141. I am on VZW and after the install I dialed *228 and did option 2 which updates my roaming capabilities and it has made a world of difference. Only thing I'm not liking but it's no biggie, is BBM messages take a tad bit longer to send for some reason. It's not bad, just not as fast as it was in .132

I would recommend trying the .122 radio code.

well that's good, it does vary from devices, so if it works for you then that's all that matters

i'm a fan of the .132 sfi, which is running awesome with v5, but i haven't tried the .141 yet. i liked .109 before, and i think .132 is a bit better for me although i haven't compared them directly, just going from what i remember of .109.

I thought of using the 141 one as well, but decided against it cause i really liked the 132.
who knows, if the BT pisses me off enough I will change over. Haven't tried the BT yet to test it.
