Thread: The Wait is over!!!! BBCrackman v5 is HERE!!!

Its HERE and ready to download!!!

The time is finally here! V5 is complete and ready for download. Many thing have been tweaked with this release. In addition you will have two options.

1. Crackman v5 built with the .141 sfi file.

2. BBCrackman v5 built with the .132 sfi file.

Both of these release perform outstanding! The reason for the two is some of you may have experienced problems with Bluetooth with the 141 sfi file. Both Hybrids are identical except for the sfi file. Install is the same as previous Hybrid installations.

Blackberry Device Software:

4.7.0.132.zip

4.7.0.141.zip

Hybrid Software Options:

BBC v5.zip

BBC v5.1-132.zip

ALWAYS BACKUP!

1. Download and install either v4.7.0.132 or v4.7.0.141 as your base.

2. Download either Hybrid of your choice

3. Initialize the Hybrid exe file

4. When the program opens click “Next”



5. This screen tells you where the hybrid will install



6. If you click next you will get a window that tells you that the directory doesnt exist do you want to create one, the answer is NO



7. Click the button to the right of the file path, another window will open that contains a file tree




8. Use the file tree to navigate to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Shared/Loader Files and highlight the installed OS (either .132 or .141) click "OK"



9. Click “Next”




10. Click “Start” this will begin the install process





11. Installation complete click “Next”


12. Click “Finish”



Now the Hybrid is installed on your PC.

To install to your device go to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Apploader, you will see in this folder a file named Vendor.xml, delete this file by right clicking on the file and choose Delete.

Now in the same folder you will see another file named Loader.exe, looks like a phone, double click to initiate the loader program. Follow on screen instructions. Some of you may be upgrading from or downgrading to, make sure you choose the appropriate action in the loader screen.

I take it I will have to shrink this before putting on my phone? If I remember right none of BB's are shrunk.

What radio were you on previously? I am using V5-132 and the radio has been excellent.

Yeah I had to get rid of the .141 radio due to the major leak ended up going back to .109 and love it. This is using Lyricidals 141./.50 hybrid. But the .132 radio worked well for me as well.

Agree it's a toss up between 132 and 109 SFI. 109 is great but I think 132 wins by a hair only because I get a slightly stronger signal with it. But those by far are my favorites.

Man I got to go somewhere and all I can do is download tonight and probably install tomorrow. This sucks!

When phone boots, the screen is automatically locked. Will the "lock issue" fix correct this?

Yes the lock issue is fixed
