Thread: Crackman's V5 Findings and Fixes

I am using it, and my calender is fine, have you checked your permissions?

Downloaded v5 .141 started out with 10 more megs of memory somehow and is working fine. I had an interesting thing happen as I was downloading the 4.7.0.141 to my desktop..after it downloaded it said I would have to restart to make the .141 take effect? I have never had to restart my desktop with any of the other downloads. The problem was upon the restart, I started getting the "Generic Host Process for Win 32 Services" error message. When I tried to ignore it, I got the Windows send and error report window. My desktop now alternates between the Win 32 Services message and the "send error report". I have tried restoring back to an earlier day, but it still cycles between the two. I can drag it down to the bottom of the screen and still get on the internet etc.....Did I somehow pick up a virus or spyware? Any ides how to eliminate this? I have a firewall and run daily scans with AVG. I ran Spybot, CC Cleaner etc. with no improvement.

Just wanted to throw out a thank you bbcrackman! Oh, a findings thread... Ok! I upgraded and everything works great, been running for about 2 hrs, browsers quick, a bit quicker than 132, accelerometer works great, no bugs so far. Camera seems good, radio works well, not sure if its better than v4 or 132. Radio seems about the same, but u can't see a whole lot sittin in the same spot. Anyways, haven't seen much from the clock from hell so I give it an A. Great job man, and thanks from all addicts and ppl tired of vzw's lack of updates!

Uninstalling didn't fix it. Permissions all set to "allow". Any other ideas?

will any of these hybirds work for tmobile or would you have to change the radio to the .90

Thanks Crackman. So far so good. Have it loaded for only about an hour and nothing to report at this time.

If you are noticing that you are holding EDGE well with the radio you have, may want to leave it, if not then you may want to go back down to .90, which radio are you using now?

Im not sure how .132 or .141 has ran with EDGE, you could always try one and then swap the radio out to .90 if you have too

Before you downgrade one of our members Mixoplex came up with a solution on how to run .132 SFI file and keep a good EDGE connection. I am trying to find the post for you.

It's always a good idea to do that with any new installed OS.

i have lyricidal hybrid version on my phone. can i use bbcrackman version over this? thanks for the help
