That could be the problem as you may deleted a file required for these apps. I would wipe your phone and reinstall the OS. Then add back your apps make sure they work then do shrink a OS.

I have never had to restart my desktop with any of the other downloads. The problem was upon the restart, I started getting the "Generic Host Process for Win 32 Services" error message. When I tried to ignore it, I got the Windows send and error report window. My desktop now alternates between the Win 32 Services message and the "send error report". I have tried restoring back to an earlier day, but it still cycles between the two. I can drag it down to the bottom of the screen and still get on the internet etc.....Did I somehow pick up a virus or spyware? Any ides how to eliminate this? I have a firewall and run daily scans with AVG. I ran Spybot, CC Cleaner etc. with no improvement.
    Hi there painlessone,

Did I understand you correctly when you said just by downloading the 4.7.0.141 it asked to restart your computer? Or did you mean that when you "installed" 4.7.0.141 on your computer that it asked you to restart it? If the latter is the case, it probably gave you that message because it installed drivers for the blackberry during the installation process, and that could/would have required you to restart your computer.

If you are still having issues, and you "installed" the software, I would uninstall it and restart the computer to see if it clears it up.

Also, what OS are you running? XP, Vista, Vista 64bit, etc??

The browser works when I go to a specific web site, but Google search or any of my bookmarks do not load.

Have you tied resending service books then doing a battery pull.

Believe it or not there are something like 20 files associated with the browser. It could be possible that when you ran shrink a os that it removed one or a few of the files only giving you a partially working browser.

Also re register your host routing table in case that hasn't been mentioned.

After 36 hours of testing and evaluating, I am thrilled with this latest hybrid.. I'm using .132 v5..The memory and battery leakage that I posted earlier with pix has settled down. Also I got a tip from JL (thanks) to run the browser occasionally after the phone sits idle to regain some memory. Awesome. Jumped about +12%! (29-41)..Anyway, I'm sticking with this and avoiding .141. Everyting running 100% incl. 3rd party apps..Wonderful job--again BBC!
