Did we ever reach a conclusion on the best radio file version to use? I'm on .141 non-hybrid and my radio sucks and causes my battery to drain faster when I lose signal. Maybe I'll try v5.1 .132 hybrid to see how that works. Ugh.
Either that or use Swap a radio and put in .132 radio. If you like the OS your on for everything else that is what I would recommend. Also as a personal note .109 was the best radio for me hands down.

Swap A Radio can be downloaded from link below

My pleasure it really is the easiest way to just see if the radio is the issue or something else.

When you use radio swap, do you actually reinstall the os after the file swap? Or does it just update that file?

Just update that file. However, since you are installing the SFI file which is responsible for a large portion of the OS, it will take as long to install as it will a new OS.

Would you know if when using the swap-a-radio to put in a new radio, would I have to re-activate my BES?

Do you have re-active BES when updating an OS. If so, then yes.
