But if your app mem stabilizes in the 30's, that would be pretty good. I'm going to shut down for the night and check back in the morning to see if you've posted any updates on how .141 is going for you, especially app mem and battery.

NO doubt v4 has been the best in terms of memory management. I will monitor things and post back results tomorrow.

I dont kow that we are sure of that yet...thats why im going to try it with v4 and see if i get the same

one last question since u guys are up.....anyone have a link to a thread that tells me how to remove sample wallpapers?

i searched and cant seem to find...i can do it somehow with crackutil right?

That would be correct. Memory leak is generally caused by Java files. That is why when BBC concocts his hybrids he uses Java files from different OS's to maximize memory management. A bad SFI would be responsible for things like poor battery life, color issues and accelerometer speed.

So when you get down to 3mb does your phone completely lag on you? I will say that it unusual to see that large of memory drop in a day. I will point out to you certain 3rd party apps that are known to cause memory drain. You can choose to remove or keep them as you wish. Weatherbug, Viigo, Facebook, Poynt, Where, Visual VoiceMail and VZ Navigator. Themes can also drain memory but it just depends on which one you are using.

You are probably right JN, Lyrical is the man. The program he created is fantastic! Personally I just use BBFileScout to remove the wallpapers, sample video and sample song but Neo created a great step by step instruction on how to remove the info he requested. If you want to show him how to use Lyrical's program that would be fantastic. Alright heading off to bed now for real lol See ya tomorrow.

Sorry about that, I'm a little slow on the trigger. Yes Crackutil would definitely remove that for you. However, Jnespa can show you another easy trick to remove these for you if you'd like. I'm heading off to bed but if you need any further assistance we'll be around tomorrow to help.

I must say that when it gets down that low it does lag. I do not have viigo, where, vz nav, or weatherbug.

So far I have only been up for 33 minutes so this is almost pointless to post but:
signal is strong, web browser is good, camera is fast, my biggest concern, and again I HAVE A LOT OF 3rd PARTY APPS INSTALLED, is my memory has all ready dropped -7 with a start up at 38.7. My concern is that in the past when I used the phone with other os's it seemed to increase memory with usage and it dropped as the phone sat idle. Now it just seems to be tanking on me regardless of usage and in past (.132, etc) it would take until the afternoon to really dip down. At this rate I will be at 3mb by 9am.

So far coming from Lyricidal's .141 Hybrid and V4 before that. I am 9 hours in and here are my results so far:

Browser is Lightening fast!
Quick Launch-No go, flickering screen (May try LY Fix)
My other 3rd Party apps all work (Except QL)
Camera Speed the same
Video works with no hang ups

Guess what? I can finally play my MMS videos that someone sends me!! I have been waiting for this for a long time!! My wife sends me videos of my kids while I travel and I couldn't watch them from the MMS msg until now!! This is huge for me.

No MMS bugs! You can forward pics from other people with no issue
Pictures and Music loads faster in Media from my 16GB card
I like the quicker Lock and Unlock feature. Much faster (Other people do not like it) User preference
Keyboard is the same size keys but ZERO lag
Color banding present, but not near as visible
Radio is holding at 4 bars of 1EXEV (Normally at 3 bars in my office) Any improvement is great!
Accelerometer is very quick. Even with themes!
Visual Voice Mail works perfect
56MB at start up vs 54MB before
Battery Pull seems to load faster than before (I have done 3-60 second pulls as recommended by the BBOS team)

I am VERY HAPPY with this Leaked OS!! Best OS so far for me
