Yes. You wont see a change in this (color banding) in the radio/sfi (I have a feeling) until we see 5.0.

Ive just gotten used to it, its a bit of a step back, but in a direction for overall performance. At first i was opposed to it, but have learned to just accept it.

Fix is available using LY's 5.0 Hybrid with .141. Everyone has reported so far so good with all 3rd party apps, and stability with .174 platform is outstanding. Might have to give this a whirl, Im just dedicated to BBC and his Hybrids! ;)

Sounds like this one has a lot of bugs thus far. Might just have to stick with V4 until some of the things are worked out.

I would use the Hybrid (Came from it actually). My storm just do not like the 5.0 files. Any thoughts?

Use CrckUtl to swap all 5.0.0.90 files out with .141 replacements or .132. Should fix you right up, little bit of hack/slash to hybrid but hey it was already a hack/slash to begin with. ;)

So far coming from Lyricidal's .141 Hybrid and V4 before that:

Browser is Lightening fast!
Quick Launch-No go, flickering screen (May try LY Fix)
My other 3rd Party apps all work (Except QL)
Camera Speed the same
Video works with no hang ups

Guess what? I can finally play my MMS videos that someone sends me!! I have been waiting for this for a long time!! My wife sends me videos of my kids while I travel and I couldn't watch them from the MMS msg until now!! This is huge for me.

No MMS bugs! You can forward pics from other people with no issue
Pictures and Music loads faster in Media from my 16GB card
I like the quicker Lock and Unlock feature. Much faster (Other people do not like it) User preference
Keyboard is the same size keys but ZERO lag
Color banding present, but not near as visible

Accelerometer is very quick. Even with themes!
Visual Voice Mail works perfect
56MB at start up vs 54MB before
Battery Pull seems to load faster than before (I have done 3-60 second pulls as recommended by the BBOS team)

I am VERY HAPPY with this Leaked OS!! Best OS so far for me

Lyric's 141/5.0 hybrid already has the fix in the java.

I took the 3 files from my .132 java folder and pasted it into the .141 java and then added 5.0 files.... i know he's got the installer I just enjoy to do the copy and pasting.

So would it be possible to install the .141 leak, and then run the V4 installer and basically run the java files from V4 and the radio file from .141? Or would just a full .141 install be the better route?

I would just install .141 and copy/paste the v4 java folder (make sure to delete, then paste into folder, not just overwrite the files as i have had bad encounters doing so) in the .141 folder and run the apploader.exe (shrink OS as well as you probably don't use half the shiznit that is installed everytime you update to a leaked OS).

Either one will work. I have not been on .141 long enough to provide definitive feedback but so far so good.
