Thread: OS 4.7.0.141 for 9530 Findings Only

Okay, I ran this OS clean, did not shrink it or anything. I was testing the radio to see if it was patched for T-Mobile.
Nope, not fixed lol. I cant hold a EDGE connection when I want to use the data. When ever I go to use any data intence application it goes back to edge. But when no data is being used, or if it is not intence data usage it stays EDGE.
Darn, eh, maybe one day they will get a release for us Tmo people.

Have you tried placing .132 radio into .141? See if the "flicker" goes away. I had put .141 radio onto .132 v4 and got the dreaded flicker...betcha .132 radio in .141 kills the lil flicker bug....:nutkick:....whaddya think??

You might try unchecking your APN and force your 3rd party apps to use BIS

Has anyone experienced low volume on bluetooth with .141

YES YES YES!!!! This is why I am no longer on 141. I tried wiping and reloading 141 two times and still had the same problem. As a result went back to v4 and the issue has been fixed.

I have had this as well. Thought it was a fluke yesterday, then it happened today and now I know.

That's what's strange. It worked fine for 24 hours then all of a sudden the problem started happening. Since I only use a bluetooth for talking on the phone this was a deal breaker for me.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed battery life really sucks on 141

Since you cant use the phone w/o the bluetooth because if u talk on the phone too long while holding it up to ur face (with or without screen lock) the speaker phone randomly turns on and does not give u the option to turn it off...:09: anyone else ever have this happen?

it might be u or ur storm i mean. My battery is fine. Had some app lag did another battery pull after 1st initial 3 pulls and now its fine.

and yes did my 3 mandatory battery pulls to hopefully get it up and running well. I just dont remember (even on 132) it being this bad. I guess i'll just play with it and try an older sfi Monday if it does'nt settle in.

I'm on Verizon but my battery life and app mem are pretty good. But now after 2 days my phone is getting a little funky on .141. Accelerometer stalls on occasion, typing lag worse now on browser, lag when opening some apps. I've been using the BB wired stereo headset and it's been okay so far, so don't know if my phone also has the BT volume issue jlev and nikki mentioned. But looks like I'm going back to v4.

Anyone know how the video cam problem I was having with v4 can be fixed? (White instead of black bars when switching orientation and on-screen start/stop button not responsive.) Thanks!

That has not happened to me but don't consider my a good judge because I rarely ever talk on my phone without bluetooth.

I have seen people mentioning the problem of the video camera however that has not been an issue for me. Maybe a good old fashioned wipe and reinstall will fix it? Will take this up with BBcrackman to see if he has any other workarounds. Maybe a COD file from a different OS might fix this for some?

I won't be able to go back to v4 until tonight. Hopefully after a wipe and reinstall of v4 the video cam issue will go away.

FYI, my app mem dropped 10MB in the last hour with no apps running and the original theme. Seems like my phone is starting to not like .141. Signing off now.
