There is no doubt they can be a tough crowd but it was them who delivered on the Java files from .141

No doubt there is serious hatorade over there but it still is a useful resource. Just make sure you bring your flame retardent suit

It's hard to say with VZW but we have certainly received leaks in advance of them becoming official.

And if they do release .141 we already have it. History has proven that leaks that have become official are the same exact OS.

It's not a bad OS and certainly a huge upgrade from .75 but there a few bugs that I would be surprised to see them go live with (like lack of color and the keyboard bug). That being said RIM is moving in the right direction. At this point VZW does need to release something and the rumors swirling around indicate this may be it. Now off to bed.

Radio said VZ might... "MIGHT" just hold off for the 5.0 OS... he said he will check and get back to give us the info...

that would be the smart move too, as long as we don't have to wait too long.

However, on the higher 4.7.0.xxx there are good things in store. I know that on version .18X available memory starts off at 100mb.

I feel that if VZW is gonna do an "official"...then whats the purpose of putting out a product that has a much better replacement right around the corner??

Shoot...we have BBC...we can wait for 5.0 !! :usa2:

So all the goodies from 4.7 will be/it is on the 5.0

Geez, we could probably build a swimming pool faster to go along with the grilling than an OS can get built and released. Not bashing RIM or VZW just reflecting upon the elapsed time from .75 to now.
