Thanks for all the help. I am pretty sure I got it figured out. Its done installing on the phone, the phone is just booting up now. Wow, I am so glad that all you guys are here to help us lesser advanced people. I can't wait to see how this phone works now. This site is incredible!!!!
One more quick question. My phone still says v126.96.36.199(platform 188.8.131.52). How do I know if the v4 hybrid is in there?
Go to options - applications - scroll down to Blackberry 4.7 Core applications - highlight this - press BB button - modules. Then scroll down you will see that there will be files from different OS's not just .132

I guess its the v4. I notice stuff from 109, 131, and 132, but that is it. Again, thanks for everything. I can't wait to get started with one.
I removed all of the installed BB related software from the laptop and went back to DM 4.7 but am still getting the same results as far as the backup goes. Would clearing the IT Policy help in clearing the location based services database or would it not apply to that?

That option was already set to yes - the last good backup I had through DM was on 04/24 before I had upgraded the phone to .132 straight from .75 so I have no current backups other than my 3rd party apps that I did throught the device switch method. Am I screwed ??
