Thread: BBcrackman V4 video not playing

Help ...after upgrading to 131 my videos stopped playing. It plays for a few seconds and then freezes with an error message. Upgrading to V4 didn't help. I even wiped the phone prior to the upgrade.
Some have said I should use crackUtil??? And switch the camera file from another version that worked - 113.

Anyone care to provide instructions on how to do that?

Btw I'm currently running 132 V4....the problems started with 131 upgrade

follow these instructions but instead of net_rim_bb_mms.cod use
net_rim_bb_camera.cod

But what video is not playing? ones you have recorded or downloaded...cause it may not me the video camera

im on .132v4 and videos that i have recorded or had as an mms play fine.

For sure I can't play videos I made with the camera . I haven't tried viewing movies.

i just watched two that had been sent to me by my wife and 2 that i recorded...i think there may be more to this than your files...

YIKES....any suggestions would be appreciated. Although I won't be able to do anything until this weekend....I'm travellin.

if u did physical batt pulls how many and how long....were these vids on ur memory card? were they recorded before the upgrades or after? did you remove your memory card while you did the upgrade? if you can try to answer these in order or quote me and type in red

i did 3 physical battery pulls

videos are in my memory card

they were recorded both before and after the upgrades

i DID not remove the memory card before the updgrade - but that wouldn't matter since new videos don't play

You can switch the video file and the camera file with 109. Those also work well. Not sure why your having the issue with the vid. I have run ones I have recorded and downloaded and they both work fine. I will see what I can do for you..

I have also noticed that you tube video is locking up and giving me errors. It ran perfect with .114 3.5.

It has been working for me as well.
