Sometimes Bryan I don't see a vendor.xml file either but that's because I have thrown my PC against the wall a few times trying to install OS's.

I am going to edit this and say I am flying in the dark as I never installed V4 so I am just going by what I know Don't shoot me lol

My version says....4.7.0.132 (platform 4.0.0.162)

but when I had the lyric hybrid 5.0 I could see the 5.0 files in the modules with this one I can't.

yes I did download to the OS loader files and I only had one OS loader there the .132 one.

There shouldn't be any 5.0 files in this hybrid that is why you can't see them

Oh so then I have it then? Will there be a noticable difference with the .132 alone and with the hybrid I just installed?

There should be but I never did install this one so maybe Jlevy or someone that did can give you a heads up on what this did for them

v4 had considerable improvement in mem recovery, battery life was good. Accelerometer was more responsive than straight 132. Overall a good stable hybrid.

Ok so the ONLY way to know that it was installed correctly was by the version it says on my phone which is what I said in the previous post.

I liked v4 a lot. As a matter of fact it is one of my favorite hybrids. As BBC stated, it was fast, good memory, and excellent battery life.

If you look through the modules you should see a bunch of different OS's not just one. If you don't see that you didn't install the hybrid.

I knew it....they all say the same OS!!!! Now what???

there is still NO vendor file to delete.

could i delete the .132 OS from my computer? even though it is on my phone? and start from scratch? Will that harm my phone during an install?

That's what I would suggest. Uninstall .132 and reinstall it. I would also wipe your phone for good measure but that is just me.

I deleted the old .132 in my computer downloaded a fresh one then downloaded a fresh v4hybrid and nothing. I seen the vendor file and deleted it. Plugged in phone and it says no action required. Now when i look inside the loader file to see how it looks i dont see any hybrid files like when i had lyrics 5.0 hybrid. should i just get lyrics 5.0 hybrid for .132. That one was easy to install for me. Is there a lyrics 5.0 for .132? And will u get the same good memory and battery usage with it?

did you run the hybrid install file?

Check out 9530/9500 .141/5.0.0.93[9000] Hybrid (BETA) for questions regarding it.

Since I figured out how to change radio if needed....but I think it was my position in the house...after all that! Will let you know if this one works.
