    Forgot to delete vendor file

I forgot to delete my vendor file after I did the v4 install. The install said it was successful and .132 is now my OS. Is the a way to confirm I didn't screw things up?

Azh, I think your ok. Most of the problems that occur with the vendor file prevent you from even loading the OS. Since your up and running, I would say your fine.

Anybody using the Version 4 with EDGE?

I had an issue with Version 3.5, it use to come and go.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

Once again, I cant get this one to work. I follow every direction to the T and when I run the apploader, it tells me no actions necessary.

Yes, I deleted the vendor file.

if you are running the apploader from the DM then that is why.

you need to run the Loader application from ?..C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader?..delete the vendor.xml file

    Dbl Click the Loader application:

Check what you want to be installed and continue with the instructions.

I'm not sure what happen when I did the upgrade but it didn't backup or load any of my contacts or messages. It did my apps though. Luckily I had all my contacts saved on my sim card so I wasn't totally screwed. Great update though, I've been playing with it all day and can't find anything wrong with it.

Have you ever though about putting out a stripped down version without the preloaded pics and theme?

Up to this point BBC has not released a stripped down version but removing the pictures is easy to do. Just follow the instructions on this link:http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/b...mb-memory.html
