Yep it seems to be working. It added a email folder. Appreciate the quick answers. The Storm is very different from the Palm Treo that I've been using [crap]. BTW.. I didn't do a wipe or a compress [I forget the actual .exe] so I don't know what memory affects it caused, & I've read a lot of treads about good/bad memory & leaks. Where is memory amounts shown? What's good/bad? I used to teach part time & always said that there weren't any dumb questions... but there sure were!

Memory is check by going to the Options menu/ memory and it will display the amount of free app memory. I would not worry about it until the memory drops to 5mbs or less. Then do a battery pull and it will recover.

haha, well for starters to see your memory just go to options - memory - and see application memory.

in terms of whats good or bad, my storm ran fine around 25 mb's and a common rule ive noticed is that anything below 10 is when it performs slow.

now after running lyricidal's shrink os my app memory has been in the low 50's to high 40's and is running better than ever.

Right on bdude. Secondly memory is really much more than people make it out to bad. there is really no such thing as good or bad. As long as memory is more than 5-10mb you are fine. You will notice if you have memory issues as your phone will begin to lag.
