Sorry never tried your cocktail. I ran .132 and wasn't crazy about it, ran 3.5 and definitely liked it. v4 is better than 3.5 and 50X better than .132 IMO

Been running v4 for only about 5 hours now but so far it is the fastest and smoothest OS I have run (.75, .86, .90, .103, .109, .113, .114v1, .114v2, .114v3, .114v3.5, .114v3.5-113, .132). Up until now, .113, v3.5 and v3.5-113 were the most stable for me, with the v3.5 a little quicker than .113 all around. .132 started out okay, and except for maybe a little quicker camera, no noticeable difference in speed from v3.5 , but apparent improvement in signal strength. But after about a day and a half, my phone started to get a little unstable on .132 and apps started to lag and calls occasionally started to break up, even to land lines.
I did not try v3.5 with the .132 sfi since I figured my phone didn't like .132. But v4 is clearly faster than v3.5 and .132 (when it was running well during the first day or so). So far everything is running as well or better with v4. I'll have to see how it goes over the next couple of days since it seems it takes a while for a new OS to settle in on my phone. If anything significant pops up, I will post again.
*also, app mem and battery seem to be holding as well or better than .113 and v3.5 so far.
trunk, v4 is definitely worth trying, even if you are satisfied with what you are running now.
Great work, BBC!!! Thanks!

Haven't been using v4 for long(only a few hours) but already I notice a HUGE difference. Upgraded from .122 which was working okay for me, but figured I'd give v4 here a try.
App memory is starting off much better than any previous OSes.
App responsiveness is very quick. Flips from landscape to portrait are extremely quick in all apps. I'm not getting some of the random color banding that I was getting in previous OSes when switching between landscape and portrait. It always went away but it was still extremely annoying... and so far I haven't had to deal with it at all.
Signal strength is great(but I didn't have any major problems with it before so I don't think my review on that is a big deal).
We'll see how my battery life goes but from everything I'm seeing it should be fine.
All in all, great job on this. I'll be upgrading my brother's Storm in a few hours when he gets up for class and I know he'll be ecstatic. He's still running .75 on his... mainly because I'm a lazy bastard.
Thank you so much for this. Now if only Verizon would get around to dishing us out a quality OS upgrade(for all those people who aren't in on the greatness that is Hybrid OSes).

I went to the hybrid from 132, which was working well for me. With the hybrid, I found only the browser to be slightly faster than 132. However, for me, there was a memory leak in the hybrid that I had finally got rid of in 132. So, at this point, I'm going back to 132 which provided stable and fast performance.
