Installed this yesterday. So far, I'm loving it. It threw some error when first restarting, but since then, no issues - very fast. I'm currently running the QuickLaunch theme with it and it's nice too.

I noticed this on other recent (over .451) hybrids - when you lock the screen normally it displays the lock screen and the Owner Information. Now it just shows whatever screen you were on previously, except with a banner that says the screen is locked.

Is this normal? Is there any way to get the owner info back on the lock screen?

I loaded StormSlider that comes with it - and my owner information shows on that.

Hmmm... Including StormSlider must have been only be for VIPs over at bbHybrids. Don't see that listed here. But, I'm thinking that's why the lock screen is different. Perhaps it's assuming that you have the Slider app?

1. In the device options, click Owner.
2. Type your contact information.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Save.

Just installed over the .464 hybrid and all is well. Had to reactivate the PDF to Go Premium Edition and reconfigure my layout but that was no big deal. Will report findings after a couple of days.

I've been using "ScreenLock" a small, free utility, but removed it to see if that was the issue, but it's not.

Have you done a battery pull since you removed the app? Other than that I would check application permissions.

I don't have this loaded and have never had this issue before so if that doesn't fix it I'll have to ask someone else.

Yeah, I've done a battery pull after removing the app. I also changed themes back to the standard Zen and did a battery pull. That didn't seem to help either.

This only started happening since with the recent .480+ hybrids. In previous Hybrids like .451 I didn't experience this issue.

Perhaps it's the default permissions? Or a new setting somewhere?

For the lock issue, it's the new way RIM is doing it as with the .46x+ builds/hybrids (the ones with full Javas) the Lock icon/screen is gone

Thanks for the heads-up! That's a bummer though. That was my backup plan incase I loose my phone - hoping somebody would see the info on the lock screen and contact me.

Version B is right up my Ally. Love the 3G icon, as well as the old lock screen.

On Pc got to Start> control panel > add remove programs > in the program list near the desktop manager choice it should be listed there if it is installed to PC.

Thank you. It's not there but I did find .419 and d/l and install it..weird. I have .419 on my computer so am I able to go ahead with this hybrid install?? The directions say to install this over.419.

Yes you can. Open the program My computer> program files > common files > Research in motion > loader files > then open java folder delete contents and paste the file from the hybrid in to java folder.

Don't forget to delete vendor file in loader. then use loader to install.
