Thread: 5.0.0.484 Java (from 9500)/5.0.0.419 SFI

I have loaded the 9500 Java folder for 5.0.0.484 onto my 9530 and am in the process of syncing to our BES. This appears to be working thus far.

Great info let us know how you like the hybrid...

So far, everything looks good. Installed with about 34MB memory after restoring my apps. Yahoo! Messenger, BBM, GTalk, UberTwitter and Twitter for BB by RIM are all working fine. Google Maps, Google Talk and eGPS are all good, too. The Browser (I use BB stock) is really fast.

I would be interested to see whether/how lyricidal's current 484 hybrid (he used the 9630 484 files) would improve using these files....

Just for shits and giggles, I am running lyricidal's 484 hybrid installer over 484 Java/419 SFI. I do not think this will be much different than running lyricidal's 484 hybrid installer over straight 419, but what the heck....

i did this thursday and had been runing this until today. I am getting massive memory leak, so i am going to go with something more stable.

Try the 497 java over 419.
