Thread: 132/3.5 hybrid

dunno if anyones tried this already. but im currently using the .132 radio with the v3.5 java files from the latest released BBC build. (Used shrink-a-os before install) and it seems to be working great! will post on future findings, etc. if anyone has any questions or has tried this themselves post your thoughts here!!!!:arms:

im pretty sure bbc will probably use this radio code in his next hybrid release, so give it a try. its working much better than the .132 leak was for me.

im thinking of trying this out to see if i can get the storm any better doesnt hurt to try :biggthumpup::biggthumpup:

I'm going to try this. I'm very interested in how it will work out. I thought the straight .132 leak altogether was really nice. This is could be great until V4 comes out.

So far this is working much better than the straight up .132 leak for me, but only time will tell for sure

i dont see any purpose in putting modules from a different device on your storm... and i definately dont reccomend it

To each their own but I agree in that I do not recommend using components of 5.0 on the Storm, not until it's leaked at least.

Yeah, I have done this and it seems like a winner. I will update findings tomorrow.

Im running v4 and I gotta say, it is very quick and responsive!

I think he gets a kick outta it :tapedshut:, but i had used the first hybrid from lyricidal with 5.0 files and didnt have a problem with it when i used it for a week or so, but like jlevy and others have stated, files will clash at sometime or another..

Noticeably quicker and more responsive than 3.5? can you elaborate further?

Knowing BBC I am sure it will be. Though I am not speaking from experience as I've not had the chance to run it yet.

Running the same, but can't wait for v4. .132 and my phone are not happy together.

My phone isn't horrible on .132, but it liked .122 (full os) much much better!
