OK. Bit the bullet and installed .132 over .122 BB-V3.5. Did the mandatory 3 battery pulls and had 43.3 MB every time. Been running it for a bout an hour and mem is holding at 37-38 MB after lot's of SMS; e-mails & calls. Browser is very fast and everything is working great. So far so good.:cool2:

you cant just delete, in your pc go to control panel> add remove programs/features> lock for the os and uninstall it

if you want you can try app loader without uninstallling it should be not problem

for an easy uninstall try google "revo uninstaller" is a good option to manage installed features in your pc

You can uninstall by going to Start/control panrl/add remove programs. Find the blackberry device software, highlight and click more info just to make sure you are deleting the correct one then click remove

ealvnv and BBCM, Thanks! I uninstalled it (although it didn't delete the folder b/c I had shrink-a-os installed there plus the older file folder created by shrink-a-os)...running the install now...will report back on how it works.

What does or will Shrink-A-OS do for me?

    ealvnv and BBCM,

Ok, the install ran but I got a weird message at the end...something about the phone file not activating (of course I was too frazzled by that to stop there and write it down:23. Everything came back up and I just tested the phone and it does work for outbound/inbound calls. However I'm on a BES and the enterprise activation didn't run. So I unplugged the phone, plugged it back in, and started DM (which on hybrid installs has triggered the enterprise activation to run)...no luck this time.

Any suggestions? Part of me thinks I should just wipe the phone and start over (those error messages scare me to death and make me worry about whether the phone is really working) and I need to figure out how to trigger the enterprise activation.

Thanks again for all your help.

Have your BES admin reset the activation password. Then on the handheld start activation entering the new password. I've done that on all new os installs and works fine.

It was off when the phone rebooted, now it's on and still no activation.
