Is the platform number compatible for us 9530 users?
Posted via mobile device
just installed and will post findings soon...
It's wonderful here, smooth, responsive, fast browsing and much better energy handling - I'm using it since the original java/CDMA leak - so it is on for already five days now and working just great!

Just installed it.
Booting during setup was slow, it now seems quite fast / regular.
It installed Youtube without the website that doesn't support my device
Memory started at 31 Mb. Still seems to be an issue for me. Without a wipe my memory is lower then many others on the forum.
Browser is either the same or a little faster.
The OS in general seems way faster; more responsive for now.
Don't know about the battery yet, but will get back with more soon
Lyricidal has released a hybrid for the 9530: http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/h...ngs-fixes.html which includes the full compilation of .451 files. Of course, it gets loaded over .419 (for 9530 users) so the radio file remains as .419.
Overall, it is an excellent hybrid and well worth trying if you'd like to get the .451 files onto your device. For those seeking that "3G" indicator, it's on this hybrid.

I use a very simple (and free) app to check mem and battery from time to time, it is called StormStat and the OTA DL is here

Runs well so far..memory handling is good. It can recover my device memory when idle alot..about battery, maybe i should change mine with a new one couse it drains fast. Sometimes it could reach 10% per hour according to meterberry but normally it's arround 4%-5% per hour.
Let me add mine...again being completely different
App: 16.4
RAM-Free: 28.9
Alloc: 26.1
...well, at least you win on RAM free... (hey why do you have so much left)...![]()

I think, it all comes to personal feeling and liking - do we feel, that our device is functioning properly, behaves smooth and responsive - just the way we would like it to be... regardless of some MEM figures and stats!
