*******FOR TMO AND ATT 9530 USERS******

Would have gave an update on OS .419. BIS is down for, But calls still come in.
So far the no circuit/channel issue hasn't showed up yet....F@^$*% YEAH!!! This OS is looking good.

I found 1 issue though; Memory leak. Looks like RIM hasn't figure it out for the storm yet.
My 9700 do not have any memory leak with .421.

Where exactly is the vendor file I can't find it when I go through here C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files. DM doesn't recognize .419 as being on my computer or letting me upgrade to it. It only lets me downgrade to 4.0.x or stay at what I am at currently .328. Im assuming this is because I have not deleted the vendor file

If you go under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader it should be in there. Most of the time it isn't in the Shared\Loader Files.

Has anyone else noticed that in the SMS window sometimes the screen phases out in certain areas? It looks fuzzy and blacked out in places.

Awesome download! a lot faster typing response with longer chats and the pop up keys are a nice edition.... definitely worth the wait!

upgrade through apploader and don't worry about DM.

thanks it worked fine once I used apploader. First thing i notice about this OS is that I've gained 5 mb of memory without deleting any applications from .328.

Speed Dial Not working

I loaded 419 on my storm 1 today and noticed that my speed dial numbers no longer work. They are set up correctly in the phone options (and work from that list), but holding the associated speed dial number on the phones key pad doesn't work. Anyone experiencing this same problem of have any suggestions?

Do a 60 sec battery pull and if it still don't work try another one. I had an issue with my phone that it wouldn't dial out. It took two battery pulls to get it work.
I was about to re-install the OS but it finally took hold. Its worth a try.

I am having the same issues with the SMS screens and black lines, has anyone else experienced this and found a fix for it?

I have black lines thru out my phone on every app. I shrunk so I linked it to that, but it could be anything. It hasn't been a problem but I'm gonna try couple 60 sec battery pulls and see what happens. I want to reload the OS, but I'm holding out for a hybrid.(too many apps to re-download)

Don't bother reloading the OS..I experienced the same thing w/my S1..419 seems to do the Job..No black lines on ANY APP...I've migrated to S2 now so no more issues for me hopefully..

Anybody else having an issue with VZ Navigator - I'm getting an error message - tried to delete and reinstall from the app center and I'm getting an HTTP error message. May end up going with the FREE Telenav in App World but thought I'd see if anybody has found a solution here - so far - 419 is about equal to 328 - other than the keyboard enhancements - I don't see much that's different.

No issues for me with the speed dial - just tested 4 out of 9 and all work - I have done numerous battery pulls and it seems to be stabilizing - I've been running for 24 hours with minor issues.

In my opinion it was worth it :fing02:

The 9530 is a nice device and it looks as if the OS 5.0.0.419 is another step in the right direction.

awesome OS
got it loaded last night and its doing great so far. I love those pop up keys, seems that they spiced them up and gave them white backgrounds on the pop up keys, as before they were blue pop ups? correct me if im mistaking, its been so long since ive last seen those ghost keys.
browser seems alot more snappier as my .328h
