if you have device manager running in the background i know that bbsak will not recognize it, if you can get bbsak to recognize your phone you can wipe it and install your new os and see if it will be recognized by dm after that

I restarted my computer along with the phone and everything went great. Only problem so far is quick pull worked with my last version but not this one so far.

I have a 9530. Question about new OS released today. Desktop manager says it is not compatable with my device. Any tips on how to load in on my phone?

did you delete the vendor file from the app loader folder...if you go to c:/program files/common files/research in motion/app loader if you see vendor delete it and try again

I tried your suggestion with no luck. After I deleted the vendor file and installed the OS I still had .328. I went back and looked to see if the vendor file was deleted, but it was there again. Not sure how that happened because I know I deleted it. I must be missing something simple.

Downloaded, installing as soon as i get home. better be epic. i'm so sick of mediocre leaks and officials for the 9530.

my storm has never liked hybrids despite my expertise. What benefits does crackman's (bigfan) V10 have over the Verizon official OS?

It is also suggested that when you delete the vendor file that you also empty your recycle bin. Ensure it is completely off your system.

I tried something new. After I deleted the vendor file I clicked on the loader file wuth the picture of the phone. It seems to have worked. Not sure if that was the correct way. Thanks again for your help.:1244:

Any way you load an OS, it will always use the Loader file so any way you can get it to work should be fine.

Sooo, has anyone played with it yet?

Does this have the pop up keys/ ghost keys of that sort?

i downloaded os install it but i cant update on phone please help

Yes it does, the blue light indicator is much more accurate to. More review to follow...the pop-up key has always on, on hold, or never....worth the update period.

lol...she has a blackberry but I doubt she knows what an OS is much less ... in either case... I hear you man... I actually just told her that I had an emergency...got home and loaded my spanking new OS :laugh2:
