Thread: Help with EastAsian language support on 5.0.0.425

Can anyone assist with providing me directions to put EastAsian language support on the 5.0.0.425 on the 9500?

Can I simply dump the CJK.alx and all associated language files pulled from the 5.0.0.154 into the 425 folder and it will work?

I would suggest downloading the .428 for 9550 and taking the Lang files and CJK.alx from that build.

.154 will not be compatible.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Would you please try transplanting necessary files from

9500_omadrmjAllLang_PBr5.0.0_rel328_PL4.2.0.61_A5. 0.0.216.exe

which contains CJK.alx as well as various Asian language files?

Supposedly for the same reasons I quoted elsewhere in this forum, the Japanese input option CAN be installed but CANNOT be activated. Otherwise, input options in Chinese, Korean, and the other Asian languages would probably work.
