what's happening when you change to 3G - do you get the signal, that it is established?

Yes, I get the 3G and the BB symbol. The browser just keeps saying "Requesting..." but doesn't actually load the pages while it was very fast on GPRS-only mode.

still the case? maybe it was due to the recent outages?

You're right, They carry the 8900 and 9000 only. So answer is NO.

However, up until now I did not experience any issues/problems whatsoever using both official 4.7 as well all 5.0.XXX builds. Problems started only with build .402 onward to .425. Thus I do not think it has something to do with Orange IL but rather some change that occurred going from build .372 to build .402. that is causing this issue.

Merry Xmas everyone here and a Happy New Year

So I would like to use the codecs from .328 in my .402. Or does .425 have this fixed?
same problem after jumping from .328 to newer OS

Hey guys, I'm a noob to this site (accepts welcomes)...re your 3G issues, my 2cents:

Voldafone Australia doesnt support 3G, only GPRS, and I would be suprised if an Australian software release would include it, as the Storm is a vodafone only phone over here....

    Otherwise, great OS...

    Jim

Try wiping the device and reloading the OS, but don't restore any data. Leave it fresh to see if that makes a difference.

Hmmm, OK. Because lately Voda's .425 has been giving me headaches - it lasts only for roughly 8-9 hours between charges, whereas I used to get 20 hours of juice before (also with .425). Anyone else experiencing this or probably has a solution?

Hm, do you have a lot of apps installed that are set up to update quite often? E.g. twitter or weather apps can drain battery quite a lot. What I did, reduced the intensity of my screen...and installed OOAK's 436 hybrid ...seems improved - at least to me.
