My S2 is running so well I need an upgrade because I think there's something wrong! Help! Help! Leak! Leak!
patient is virtue. remember at the time 9500 users have to wait to get 328.
but the wait is paid off now. hopefully all of you get leaks soon enough before anyone's gone nuts about the leaks... hahahaha
after a few hours...
Sure, but with a little efford it gets a "quite full" OS (e.g. with the older language files).

Nevertheless, what about a new leak, let's say .480?
As reminder to everyone and I meant no offense to any, this topic is to discuss findings and fixes on the official released OS for the 9500, hybfrid OS has their own forums to be discussed at.
THANKS everyone and let's stay on topic please.

Anybody: Service Books
Ever happened to you: lost a service book during an update?
Happened to me while upgrading to .425; one book was missing, but only one - restored it via backup, but why did it happen? Any idea?

did you do a wipe first? and also there is always a chance of losing everything when doing an upgrade because apploader will do a low level wipe when it initiates the OS loader

Love this one. Had to figure out how to get it installed, but eventually it was pretty simple
No problems with mediaplayer or battery. Memory is stable, I did a wipe but got around 37 Mb free. Browser seems ok, not faster.
The only way to back them up... is by doing a back up through DM and then restoring them the same way
Anybody knows witch files are regarding video codecs? On the .328 I could play both XVID and DivX avi's. Now with .402 my Storm only plays MP4.
It's a pain converting every single movie It just take to long.
So I would like to use the codecs from .328 in my .402. Or does .425 have this fixed?

i have a 9500 vodafone but im not in australia i
Wipe and reload will be the only option. This is the same file but you will not be able to download it unless you are on the carrier that released it as they only relesased it through DM i believe.

Everything worked just fine up until and including .402.
Wiped entire phone and reinstalled. Still no go.
Checked, rechecked, double checked settings (and so on)... all are ok. Nothing seems different than it was with previous builds.
When receiving phone calls, everything works normally and the contact name is displayed.
Any ideas for a fix???
Another thing, since .328, MMS are no longer available. Has anyone saw this as well?
Nope, cannot confirm either of your findings. I wiped before, too. Installed 402 on the PC, then used the 402/425 to install it over the 402 on the PC (see links in my former post here) and transferred it to the berry with the app loader - SMS/MMS all fine.
