Question for BBCrackman and BBOS Team.

Hey BBC and BBOS team, I've been running .122 now for about 24 hours and am so so about it. Yes its stable and yes it seems to be slightly better with battery consumption, but I'm not overly impressed to say the least (really liked V3.5 with 109's radio/sfi, but its a battery hog (might just do a Seidio 2600mAh Battery to solve this issue).

One of my biggest issues with .122 is the browser and how it decides to load pages. I was a HUGE FAN of V3.5's BB Browser and its overall response/load times. It seemed to me that it dedicated more resources to loading pictures and the page then .122 (basicly in a nutshell it was faster, especially when loading pages that where larger then 100k).

So heres what im asking, I was wondering what files i need to take/copy to.122's java from V3.5 (is it just the browser.cod?)? And will this correct it, or does the radio file/sfi file play heavy in how pages are loaded (no signal issues with .122's radio/sfi)?

Side note, the UI with .122 (platform .153) seems to be a bit sluggish compared to .109's (platform .136). Am I just imaging things or do you gents notice the same thing? It seems stable but the touch response is no where near as good as it was with .109?

    Any insight would be great.

    Thanks! :crackhead:

If you want to change out the browser you will need to change any and all files having to do with the browser, I beleive there are 18 or 23 files dont quite remember how many.

As far as the sfi file. I am a strong proponent of the 109. The main reason is because it is a little faster and it actually is a more stable platform. Hope that answered your questions

Thank you, it does to some extent. I think I will just go back to V3.5 (until you decide to grace us with another Hybrid )!

Ill just do the larger battery, which IMHO is really the only knock i had on my previous set up (V3.5 with platform .136). Figure it should solve most of my problems if not all. V3.5 just :buttkick: everything else ive tried, and if battery consumption is the only real downside, its an easy fix. :439:
