Thread: Best OS Hybrid for GSM Users???

BBOS Experts,

Some of you guys know me from CB, and there I seem to have the reputation of being someone to go to with your questions. I have a noob asking me which OS he should update to (from 75) to get a better expiernce with his Storm on Tmo. As you guys know the radio code on version over .90 is crappy for poor GSM folks, SO I'm pointing him in the direction of Hybrids. Which is the best one to suggest to him, and is there one with a homemade installer?

BBC created hybrid v.3.5.1 specifically for GSM users, and the results have been very good. Yes their is an installer for this hybrid. Here is the link, just follow the instructions and you should be good to go. The

why is EDGE so stable with .76 and .90, but almost everything after has issues with it ?

does the radio hardware vary for the 9530 model ? perhaps some were made with one vendor's chip, while others were made with another vendor's chip ?

if they are all the same, i don't understand why some ppl have good results while others have problems....
