And indeed I like BB MCP a lot as well, but I guess, it is at least as dangerous as bbsak - never dared to use the area 5x's - but also since I simply do not know, what to do with it :stupid:

I have the Official BlackberryOS 2.5 theme as mentioned
2 of Rellims Thems Crisp Red and Crisp red unstacked and Precision Zen.

Problem only surfaced with OS 402.
Have done numerous QuickPulls since installing over a week ago.

Very keen to understand memory usage...

Try just using the default zen theme for a couple days and see how that does.

Hi Ive been using the storm for almost a year.. keen to understand from the experts what causes the memory leaks and what files can be deleted to increase free memory.. Ive tried various themes..and Zen... amazed that some people have said they have 40-50mb free..

off topic......got my htc hd2 today. now i have 2 toys to play with..s***....here comes wify got to go.....

Didn't like this OS.

Battery went down in less than a day, without excessive use
Mediaplayer refused my movies, although I could play them with the previous version.

I'm glad the aussies provided a new OS

I just realized that I've been a fool - after backing up 3rd party apps, wiping my device and installing this OS, I didn't restore my 3rd party apps straight away but did it manually by putting back the CODs one by one. But then when I checked my Applications folder just last night I realized that I also lost BB Maps, Memo Pad, Tasks... The other two apps I could live without but there seems to be absolutely no way I could get the BB Maps back? Any ideas folks?

I'm pretty sure that if you reload the OS onto your device you can select to load Blackberry Maps in the configuration screen.

Strangely the screen where I can choose which apps I want to install never appeared this time. I'm not new at this, I've been loading .328/.348 and the various 4.6/4.7 builds on my Bold and Storm; is it because I used an older version of BBSAK (1.5) to wipe?

well after using this version for a while i've noted that my battery will not even last until lunchtime!! that is with a full overnight charge and a couple of short calls and texts.. even with BT turned off, nothing open etc!

not good... roll on the next update!!

Hi to everyone... this OS is great but i have a strange problem: my GPS won't works! i tried with any GPS software i have and by fixing position in advance options-> GPS but nothing appended... after a few minutes still don't work... any solution? sorry for my English... i'm Italian

@fedez76,

Have you enabled your GPS features on your device? You may very well have your location set for 911 only.

Indeed, battery seems to be a prob of this .402 built, with .425 power consumption seems to be much lower.
