agreed on this one... except of the contact flicking (flicking down - not up) is not very smooth for me. is there anyone else having this problem? how to fix this flicking thing.

yes, running it for 1 day now and is very smooth and stable the new keyboard shadow is great , memory doing well, boot is preety fast , running storm slider , opera , storm stat only issue here is that shows no sd card found, but overall awsome build

I'm running this since yesterday. Here are my findings.

-Battery is slightly better
-Memory is the same unshrunk like shrunk .328/.351
-All Apps are working
-Media is improved (Videos play properly and can be switched to any place of the movie without delays), Camera is performing well, Picture scrolling seems better and smoother
-The popup keys are nice, but a little slow. The better highlighting of the keys is IMO a better way to improve typing than the popups.
-I have no screen dimming issues, never had before anyway.

The contacts scrolling is an issue since flick scrolling started. One short scrolling around and it's fixed for this time of scrolling. Doesn't bother me that much, though!
After one day I didn't find any things to complain about yet. Let's see.

Mine is still in the 21 range - stable, but no improvement; the latest hybrid (OneOfAKind) gave me much more free...

Mine is 42mb after a reboot.., but then the only apps I have are Docs to Go and Google Maps...:cool2:

It's all the other bits and bobs that seem to make things a bit wobbly...

a lot of improvement in this os..browser is fast even in gprs mode, typing also fast(no lagging), memory very stable compare with all the previous os, but one thing that still need to check, my battery seems to drain faster then before..

I downloaded and did a straight upgrade from .328 on Friday and I love this build. Browser is much improved as in quicker. No lag changing from portrait to landscape. Flick scrolling is lag free and fluid througout. All apps like QP free, UT, G Maps, amazeGPS and Viigo running fine. Boot up time has improved by a few secs. Camera is quicker to snap and seems better colour and detail capture. I dont normally use themes but I downloaded one to test and it works fine. Running .328 my memory would fluctuate between 31 and 37Mb, now its a steady 35.6 and that suits me fine =] Not so sure about the battery as I charge when I am in the car but it does sem to deplete AND recharge quicker. As I said though not 100%. Overall, nothing really new from .328 but it is quicker and more memory stable.
I would recommend 9500 owners to upgrade.

And I fully agree, it's a very good build, everything works fine and smoothely.

I am wondering - I installed with a full wipe (BBSAK), used shrink a os before, but still there are some strange issues remaining: 2x identical demo sound appeared on the berry (but I was able to delete it directly from the media folder from the berry - which was impossible before).

Any idea, how to delete e.g. Blackberry Help - which is still on the berry, although it should not be...

You can use BBSAK to delete the help.cod and all other ones that you want...it can be time consuming and be careful to not delete something you didn't want to.... or you can use shrink-a-OS to eliminate un-needed items then reload OS to phone.

Thanks, I'll try to do it with BBSAK - I was just wondering why the help issue remained although I've used shrink-a-OS in the first place, so the help should have been removed from the JAVA before I placed it on the berry - hm - maybe (most likely) I did something wrong

No problem breiti...I noticed that RIM has made an effort to really embed their files into the OS. :crazy:

I just switched from 5.0.0328 to the .402 works like a charm didnt notice a huge difference from the .328 except the cam being a bit faster and the picure access also faster
now the problem i found was the videos that i had on .avi .mp4 were playing just fine, when i put the .402 it just said error playing and on some of the avi i just get sound and no picture, .
the tested the Babylon A.D trailer and that works as a charm
any insight will be helpfull

i get same problem through various builds...some play divx fine and others wont play exact same file unchanged....dunno what to say as im looking for fix myself...
