Newbie In Need Of Help !!!!

I have a BB storm 9530 that is currently unlocked. It is a verizon wireless phone, but I am currently using it on the t mobile network. I had upgraded the phone's os system to the official 5.0.0.328 os that was released by verizon online .. the phone was much faster and responsive, but I could not make any phone calls. I was recieving the "no circuit/no channel" error code.

Can you please instruct me on what to do. I would like to find an os that will work on the T mobile network. I am sick and tired of using os v4.7.0.75 (platform 4.0.0.94)

Welcome to ::bbos::! That is an issue with the OS and T-Mobile. A few people seem to have no problem, but the majority of people don't have such luck. Your only option would be to go back to the previous working OS.

I have a Storm 9500 and have heard from the market (delears of BB) that the Storm 9500 has been upgraded with newer softwares and relauched as 9530.

1. Is it true and what are the changes?
2. Can I install that software in m Handset without problems?
3. Where can I find this software that they have upgarded?

It is not true about 9500 being updated and relaunched as a 9530. 9500 Storm is GSM only, and 9530 is CDMA/GSM. The latest leaked for 9500 is 5.0.0.328 and here is the link: Download 5.0.0.328 from Rapidshare

I finally found an OS version that works on my bbstorm 9530 for my geographical location. I have tried several other OS's but only v5.0.0.140 (Platform 4.2.0.17) ...

It isn't as fast & responsive as the .328 OS but it better than using v4.0.0.148 .. Are there any OS's or hybrids out there that are a mixture of .140 and .328? If so please send me a link ASAP so that I can give it a try ...

Have you already checked www.bbhybrids.net ?

Give lyric's .351 hybrid a shot. Supposedly it fixed that error for you T-mobile users.

.351 hybrid doesnt work either ...

should try OOAK's .328/415 hybrid...gotten good reviews from tmo people
