    That wouldn't make any sense what so ever. Try this for me... Plug in your Dad's phone, open Desktop Manager. Look at the bottom and does it show you his PIN?

    I suggest using BBSAK (download here) to wipe his BB and then loading the OS onto the blank device using the apploader. Be sure to back up his personal data and apps first, if there's anything he wants to keep.

    Yes it was, so im guessing that my Dad screwed up some update, and he just told me he did. lol.
