I know it hasn't been that long since the last leak, but it would really spice things up around here, and over at CB for that matter. Maybe soon... :bukkake:

It would be nice to see that is for sure, however am not convienced that we will see anything anytime soon. Security has gotten pretty tight in regards to leaks

I know people are still getting these leaks (well into the .18X) just no one is willing to drop because of what it could bring. :dead:

Yea, this might get interesting. JRCivic has found a way to pull most of an OS off of a phone. So now you just have to find someone with .18x on there phone...lol

i'm of the opinion, just because there have been so many 'leaks' that RIM releases them, themselves, an open beta that they can track via bbforums and crackberry

Trust me RIM is not happy when an OS leak and they have much better things to do with their time than monitor forums for this type of info. The reason we get leaks is when RIM sends new OS's to independent testers and these testers leak it to the rest of us. RIM has tightened up security and that is why we are seeing fewer leaks these day than in the past.

maybe they got tired of all the leaks because its proving how sad they really are? they all have terrible issues and they shouldnt. they are suppose to be professionals yet they keep screwing stuff up to the point of being in the .18x's and we are on .75 as official? damn thats lame! maybe if they did a better job programming there wouldnt be such an issue.

Very true, and they wouldnt gain much useful information from forums, RIM and Verizon assume Storm users are still on .75. The people who test these builds know how to replicate bugs, diagnose a problem, also much more knowledge when it comes to testing, there are many other bugs that we dont see because most users wont use certain features... so when ever a new/old release is official, we wont really see anything new..

at this point im perfectly happy with where its at...its a huge improvement over what the storm started as and if i have to wait longer than it has been then i think i can suck it up for a little while...but i would love another leak

i hate where its at. i hate picking up my ipod touch and the smoothness makes me ashamed of my storm (thats right the ipod makes me look down at the storm) plus the radio sucks, only way i can get EDGE is on .75 and .90. tried every other radio and nothing holds a EDGE for longer than 5 minutes. and i have great reception where i live. (for every other phone i have owned)

im on verizon so 1XEV all the time, its never gone to 1xev and ive never had anything but 4 or 5 bars, the joys of a college campus for cell service...yeah the ipod touch is a lot smoother i wont say anything there it is amazing how nice it is...i could be happier but for where it started buying my phone the day it came out, im happier than what i started out as being disappointed at day 1

we could hire some pirates from Somalia maybe they could hook up some leaks hell i give them a $50.00 ransom who's with me????
