I just noticed that there is now a separate file manager app called "Files". It should be in the Applications folder. I haven't seen anyone else posting this though. A simple file manager app that does all the basics, but FileScout still beats it IMO ;)

And by the way... I can't seem to find the Desktop app you guys mentioned anywhere? Not that it's that vital but I just wanted to check it out.

Are you referring to App Loader? That should be in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader.

OK, I'm using this one since it leaked and for the first time I'm considering - just considering - NOT to use a hybrid. Maybe later if I get bored or on withdrawal, let's see.
For my kind of usage this OS is absolutely acceptable. I don't need popup keys or any typing aids, they just distract me. QuickPull is not an issue, because my memory is/was rock solid the whole time with minor fluctuations of +- 0.2 MB. I can't understand, why some people have probs with their browser speed, mine is still flying compared to the earlier builds. All media apps are still working as they should.
Of course, the testing and playing will continue!

Can't turn off the predictive text..

Been using 5.0.0.328 for a few days now and must say I'm very pleased with it...

I have one problem....:)

I cannot turn off the predictive text..., I've tried everything... :aargh4:

Any one know if this a bug?

i think if you go under options>screenand keyboard>its there.. it may be under spell check too. I usually turned it off by opening the messages folder>bbkey>options>spellcheck and turnoing off in ther

I've checked all of those and nothing is ticked in any of the three areas...

It just won't turn off... :confused:

go to option/language and text input/
change the word completion to auto correction
then tap on show text input options
then untick the auto correction...
