328/344/348 Hybrid Beta
Here's a little something for everyone (using a 9530)
This is a link to a java folder I whipped up
Its shrunk down like all my past hybrids
its 328 and 348
It boots with no errors
the keyboard is there
That is all I know at this point. Have to go back to school now (did this in between classes), if you find any problems post and let me know.
***Keep in mind this is a beta, consider yourselves warned.*****
Install 328, and replace the java folder with this.
If someone wants to make another thread to post findings feel free
I'm assuming this is only for the 9530, not the 9550. Do you have anything new for the 9550? Thanks for all the good work.
downloading now.... ill check it out man. sounds like fun for tonight.
Sadly I do not have a 9550 so I have to way to test it out before it goes to the people. If Verizon is nice enough to give me the whole early upgrade thing when it applies to my area. I will definitely be getting one, and things should start picking up.

Note: Timing is important in this process. Read through the following steps before beginning this procedure.
-Disconnect the BlackBerry device from the computer.
-In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, open Application Loader and click Next.
-Perform a hard reset (battery pull) on the BlackBerry device.
-Reconnect the BlackBerry device to the computer before the BlackBerry device finishes resetting, and complete the following:
-wait until the drop-down list on the Communication Port Selection window changes to USB PIN and click Next.
-If the Handheld Password Required dialog box appears, type your password. The Application Loader will detect the BlackBerry device.
Note: If these steps do not complete successfully the first time, the BlackBerry device might have finished resetting before the Application Loader could connect to the BlackBerry device. So try again. This may take a few times to get the timing right but this should help resolve your issue
thanks for looking... I fixed my own issue. i tried your way and i was not able to get my app loader to get to the usb: pin thing at all... I switched to another cord. plugged in without batery and was able to do a low level wipe from there. so now im on a familiar and happy error 507!!!

Good to hear! Let us know how the hybrid is. OOAK makes some good ones.
ok. now that i got my head straight and finly been able to play with this hybrid. lmao. so far i have seen the improvements that bbcrackman's v10 is sporting. fast, stable, browser is faster, memory is doing well. loving it! we will see how the next couple days go!
This can now be used with the 9500 users now that they have a 328 leak
Tested this on my extra unlocked STORM on TMO... still getting the dreaded NC/NC error!
Thanks for trying though!
benefits to this hybrid anyone?
I've got just one request... is it possible to activate the lost popup keys from the .230...
I'm not quite sure whether the popup keys are a radio thing. If they are, then there is not so much to do about it.
just finished doing my batt pulls after loading this on my storm. right off the batt this OS is amazing. I am booting up with over 35mb. I have never booted up that high since I have gotten my storm. Everything is so much quicker. Typing, apps and everything else. I wont be able to play around too much since I am at work. But I am off the next 2 days and that is when I am more of a heavy user. I will definitely post up how it goes. Once again great work OneOfaKindDPC
I've had this OS over 48 hours and I am very impressed by it. I am just wondering something. After everything was squared away I booted up with over 40mb and made it up to 45. The only thing I have done since then is start using meterberry again and I only boot up with 30mb. I can't think of anything else that has changed. any ideas?
I would try deleting MB and see if it goes back to where the memory was before.
I was honestly thinking of doing the same. But I wanted to wait until I had access to the laptop I had backed up the BB on. MB shouldn't take up anywhere near 15MB though. hmm
