If it shows 174 you are using the radio from .141

GGGRRRRRRRR...... Since the last 'upgrade' the phone has an Activating icon and is stuck on 35%.... tried pulling the battery but no luck... Never seen this before - what am I missing?

Ah, completed the 'activating'...finally!!!!

Does any one have a view on sorting one or two problems with 148/5.0.0.93 hybrid code (although this problem is not unique to this version of the code). The problems are:

1. I cannot turn off notifications on in coming email via enterprise server. I have been to the Sounds / Set Ring Tone Alerts settings and turned everything off for email, I have even created a personal profile with everything off and yet all through the night emails result in sounds, vibration and led alerts!!!!
2. When in the phone menu you highlight a previous caller and press the dial button intermittently the phone switches to the Contacts instead of dialing. This is a new bug since installing the hybrid 141 and now the hybrid 148.
Any ideas?

I find it easier to just copy and paste the intended radio file to the Os CDMA folder and use Loader to update. This has worked flawlessly for me. As a matter of interest I have found that the 95000 / 148 radio to be pretty good but this descision tends to be phone specific. See what radio you find to be best and give it a couple of days to stabilise, before you decide how good or bad.

I don`t use BES so can`t comment on the other issues.

In my experience it is easier to copy an paste the desired radio file, in this case 109 into the operating system CDMA folder and use loader to complete the installation.

Thanks. In the end I worked out which files were which and copied them. Thanks for the help.

The recent hybrids should be accomodated here...
its easier for new users that way...

Followed Gabriel's instruction to upgrade to the hybrid os from .151. But just wondering how to check the installed version is the hybrid version.

When you ran app loader after swapping, did you select downgrade option? That's what you need to do, otherwise it will not work.

It'd be great to have all radio files in a single thread with brief description and links to the actual files... that way both 9500 and 9530 users will be able to use them whenever necessary... a good resource for hybrid developers as well...
I would request the mods to take the initiative!
