Ok guys I apologize for tying up the findings thread with my issues so here is the proper way to get some help.
After several attempts to cure the problem I am still fighting my email issue and really don't know where to go from here. I am wondering if it has something to do with a compatibility issue with my email server and the new OS system.
The problem is I can send e-mails but for some reason I cannot receive them. This is only an issue on my firstname.lastname@example.org address'. Everything works great with my BBOS email but for some reason it just doesn't work with my other address'. Could this be a compatability issue with the new os and my servers?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
have you tried deleting the email address and recreating it?
yep several times. I am actually back on V3 and I still have the problem. gdamnit this is irritating. I have deleted all the emails and recreating them with no luck, resent service books. It won't connect to the BB server then it will reconnect and still nothing. I just don't know what to do.
no that is what is wierd. It is a cox cpommunications email address. I have the service set up to be able to use my coporate email but I haven't set it up yet. I didn't ever have a problem until I installed 3.5 friday evening and now it won't work. I can't figure it out and don't know where to start. If I could find out how to wipe the phone and start form scratch I would do that but I can't figure that out either. Maybe i am not meant to do this stuff. LOL
$hit, now it is connecting the the BB server so I will try once again to load the email and see if it works but it hasn't yet so I don't have alot of confidence.
