It's hard to say give me 24 hours with the 5.0/.122 hybrid and I will let you know my opinion.

5.0/.122 for sure...I started at 59.2...been running for about 15 hours now and holding strong at 56.2 and I send alot of texts/e-mails from my phone and send a call about 2 to 3 times an hour and check my accounts from the browser. So I would recomend this OS for sure.

I using 3.5 and works good no apparent issues all apps run smoothly. I am waiting to see what the guinea pigs trying out 5.0/.122 report back to see if I do the move to 5.0/.122

I see no difference between v3.5 and 5.0 hybrid. As a disclaimer I put back in some of the removed files from the 5.0hybrid since I need those for work. So I only booted up with 45.6. After 12 hours I am down to 35mb. IF you have v3.5 I would say stay there unless you are not happy with it. If you had 5.0 hybrid I would say stay there too since the two are virtually identical. Just my opinion.

I would do the BBCracknam 3.5 hybrid, that's what I'm on. Memory is the best yet and I run Epocretes which is always running and a today plus crossbar theme which are both always running down my memory. This has been the best OS yet for me and I haven't done a battery pull in a couple days. I'll stick with this until BBCrackman comes up with a 5.0 hybrid.

Im running the 5.0 hybrid, it has been very very stable for me, good quick scrolling and great memory, cant wait to see what BB will have in store for us with a hybrid

I would stick v3.5. I have been on 5.0 now for about 20 hours. Battery life is disappointing, memory loss is also disappointing. I am not seeing anything worth upgrading for. I may try it with the .90 radio but after that will probably go back to v3.5

really? Hmm my battery has been great, but i guess one persons gain is another loss.....

You know how these phones are. You could run ten phones with this and all would get different results. Easter was great, how was yours?

Did you change the SFI file or you still using .122 SFI? Maybe it's just the .122 radio code that sucks.

Yes sadly it is that way, but all is trial and error, great ate to much and not motivated at all :damnit:

Yup I stuck with .122 .sfi, its been good for me, experimented with .90 sfi and hated it, less then 3 minutes after a reboot came back to .122

.90 can be a nightmare. But it had great battery life. 109 was not bad either. Maybe I will try a wipe and reinstall and see if I get better results. My memory has fluctuated between 45mb and 30mb in the last 7 hours.

my memory has to, but least its not dropping low low, Brian did a wipe last night and he said it acted better

I may go that route after watching the Laker game in a few.

I have actually thought bout going to sfi from .75 just to goof off and see how it does, just curious really..

Cavs won!! Pretty happy bout how they did do against boston, and i always have to do something while upgrading or ill sit and watch and get to eager
