Can report that I've had no unexpected surprises (reboots), apps are all working, browser is lightening fast, phone is fine, Today Plus theme working as it should, transitions are quick, lock/unlock is fast, MMS completely working...
Not sure what the 5.0 files have added to the improvements but overall, this appears to be stable and a very good OS. Will report more if it pops up over time. Thanks Lyricidal and everyone else for all the work!

Hey anyone, how do i update to this current version, i previously installed this over bbcrackman 3.5 when this was first released. Did the install .133 first etc as instructed and then used apploader to install, just not sure how to add in the updated 50 files etc... do ineed to just cut and paste the java to overwrite my current java folder?

Download the installer on the opening post and run it. This will overwrite your current files with 5.0 hybrid. There is also instructions you can download on the OP as well. If you have any further questions let us know.

jlevy...i know to use safe mode on a normal storm you have to start it a certain way...with 5.0 is it just a thing you click and it reboots itself into safe mode?

Hey Brian. Yeah it's the same way. If it doesn't work let me know as there is an article delineating how to get it started.

interesting...so on 3.5 i should be able to do it...btw .109 radio doesnt seem to be performing great anymore...when i clicked the SMS button earlier i got the square to be lightning for some reason and its switching to landscape slowly and leaking now...may try .86 so my phone wont operate properly mfg: haha j/k i might use .113 since bbc used it a lot in past hybrids and it always seemed stable.

Yeah v3.5 and 109 did not mix well so I scrapped it. Right now I am giving the full version of .122 a shot.

i just swapped the radio to .113 but havent loaded yet...im really just trying to figure out which OS/Hybrid to use...there are so many options and i just want a great performing OS. Ive gone through so many i dont remember which were best.

Believe it or not I take notes on them so that I can eliminate combos that don't work :crackhead:

i should but i dont and its too late at this point haha.

When I get done testing the full version of .122 I will let you know. So far I would say BBC's v3.5

i used .122 well the files that came out the other week or whenever and wasnt a huge fan of it. it gave me huge memory leak but then again i did not do correct bat pulls etc. maybe ill try it out for a few days.

hows 122 running for you?
different from the leaked OS?

may be a random question here...say you d/l a theme to your PC and add it to JAVA...if you do that is it possible to delete the "stock" theme and only have the new theme on the phone? or will that causes error and issues with the phone?

Keep in mind when .122 was released some key java files were missing. So far it has been doing really well for me. Started out at 51.6mb and am only down to 48mb in about 8 hours.

It's doing well pupp. I like it better than the leaked version. Memory, battery life and signal strength have all improved. Let me see how it goes over the next 12 hours and will post my findings.
