From any OS you have installed go into the java file and do a control F and enter that file name. Once found paste into the hybrid and reinstall.

So whats the overall view on this "New" Hybrid?

Ive read about 18+ pages about it, but haven't really seen any true informations (Pro's Cons) that make me say, Ooooh i should install this and try it out.

BBC, Jlevy, and the rest of the BBOS team, what are your thoughts on this Hybrid/Build? Is it worth dumping 3.5 to test out some .cod's from 5.0? Is it that amazing that its worth the hassle?

Genuine Input about it would be great (listed pro's/con's, even though i know its up time has been very short).

    Thanks!

In my opinion it's not worth dumping v3.5 for. In some respects I find it to be a downgrade from v3.5. Battery life is poor, memory leak is also bad, accelerometer a tad slower. I commend Lyrical's efforts but there more work needed before I can honestly advise people to upgrade. In the end it's up to you but I think you're good where you are.

I on the other hand have nothing but good coming from this hybrid, as me and J mentioned in another thread, you can put it on ten phones with all different results(compliments to J)

    Thanks for the insight.

Oh and by the way (a little off topic). Im really starting to dig BBOS Site and this Board. Very nice, and much more laid back (less flame resistant suits needed) group who monitor it and also contribute to it. Im def. enjoying my time here, and will be spending more time contributing to this site and forum then at CB (and thats no offense to CB, because they really got me involved with my obsession!). Keep up the solid efforts/work! :You_Rock_Emoticon:

Will be donating/becoming a VIP member as soon as my economical status sees fit (hopefully sooner then later).

I used v3.5 for a little more than 24 hours and I loved it, it was great, but I figured I'd try this out and see how it works. I've been using it for a couple of hours now and I really like it. Overall everything seems to be a tad bit quicker and a little more stable than any of the OS's and hybrids I tried. I would definitely recommend giving it a shot, what do you have to lose? (10 minutes of your time?)

I would use .113, build was more stable than .114. Just my thoughts

I just noticed that .113 is much smaller (83) than .114 (153) Mb. Is that normal?

yeah, its usually smaller because of less languages (depending on what carrier released it and what langs they support)
