try doing a restore through desktop manager. That ought to bring back the today function

Restore and battery pull fixes it. Thanks. Anyone have suggestion on the device memory error I am receiving?

"Device Memory not accessible due to detected errors. To correct the errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer."

    Where is disk error-checking utility?

    Default Initial Impressions

Well here are my thoughts after playing with this for the last 12 hours. To be honest I see very, very little difference between v3.5 and this. I booted up with 45.6mb (I added some of the removed files back) and am steady at 40mb. This is exactly the same as I would have had with V3.5. Accelerometer is a tad slower, browser the same, phone the same. I don't see any of the 5.0 features even though I do see them installed.

Great work by Lyrical would love to see some additional implementations from 5.0, otherwise it still looks and feels like 4.7

My startup memory went up 4mb, typing lag seemed to be almost non existent. Other than that I concur it feels just like 4.7. But we're taking steps in the right direction. Keep up the good work!

I have no blue progress bar on startup as well. Guess that's just part of the additions, or lack thereof

Sweet! My memory drain is now in reverse!!!!!! I used to keep a tidy BB not having anything extra installed, but I went ahead and installed a few apps, and upon a fresh reboot (Bat Pull), I had 49.1MB free....now, two hours later, after making two calls, receiving several e-mails and Text messages, my phone is up to 50.1MB free. Very nice work!

Have you been running any further tests with this hybrid? Would love to see more 5.0 components included. How are things going with it.
