What 8th installment. The OP says last update was 4/13. If that is the one you are referring to then yes I have and that one was unstable on my phone.

I clicked on the link again and it came up with (8) instead of (7), so maybe its not much different from the 7th installment

Have had absolutely no reboots since installing...running for two days now with no untoward findings. Appears extremely stable.
    Phone - excellent, no issues.
Browser - lightening fast. Fastest I've encountered of all OS to date.
Memory - memory recovery capability appears to be extremely good. Exercise the device and it snaps back to within a few MB of initial installation levels. Even at lowest monitored levels, I could not detect any lag in the device browser, keyboard, phone pad or applications.
Email - excellent HTML documents which I don't recall having on 4.7.
Lyricidal Shrink-a-Os and Installer (loader) both performed their functions without problem. Install was fast!
Apps - all working properly (Docs to Go, Google Maps, Storm Level, iBerry Meter, iBerry Today plus Theme, Blackberry Maps, Slacker (when I have it installed). Everything works well.

On my device, this OS seems to run a little smoother and faster than V3.5. (3.5 proved to also be worthy of installing and runs well for many). But as we have seen, no two devices seem to behave the same. I suspect that has more to do with installation issues than with hardware (just an opinion). I installed over .113/.122.

now you've got me wondering if I have the latest. I used the .rar files posted 4/13 on the first post of this thread. If you have something newer, please let me know where they are. Thanks!

Search in your downloads folder on your computer and see what file it shows
