Since my phone is such a glutton for punishment I decided to load up Lyrical's hybrid yesterday. I have to say that this is really an impressive piece of work. Browser is lightning fast, accelerometer is very quick, battery is amazing. The only drawback, and this one is big for me, is my memory is sinking faster than the US economy. After using shrink a OS I booted up @ 59.6mb (a record for me) but after 12 hours of almost no usage whatsoever I am now at 27mb (also a record low). The phone still feels snappy but losing 30mb in 12 hours is not a good sign. In comparison with using BBC's V5 I was at 43mb after 12 hours and just running straight .132 I was at 40mb after 12 hours. This is apples to apples because I've been using the same apps and theme for all three of these OS's.

I really am liking some of the 5.0 functionality but if my memory drops any further I will probably have to give this bad boy the heave ho.

It's not you Lyric it's me LMAO

I do not watch The Office, but that last post is begging for a TWSS, no?

    Question: .141 V5 or .132 V5?

Now all you need to do is try the V5 with the 5.0 files. Oh, and do not forget the different radio and GPS permutations. I figure you should be done testing all the possible combinations right about when the economy is stable and healthy again....

    Great apples-to-apples comparisons, too!

I am finding the same thing with this hybrid. Memory has been dropping quickly and the camera has changed. The green focusing box is no longer visible and when you zoom, the zoom numbers don't change. However, the camera is very fast. BBCrackman's v5 was very stable with the .132 phone and GPS.

    LMAO...

    Here is what I did:

    1. Installed straight .132
    2. Ran the installer over that OS
    3. Ran Shrink OS
    4. Loaded her up

Your suggestion is a great one. Since I liked the radio on 132 better I think I will go with V5-132, install only the 5.0 files and make the changes to the GPS files. I'll let you know my results once the stock market has stabilized

    Thanks for your great suggestions.
