Can you point me to step by step install guide for installing just the 5.0 Files into V5?

I appreciate your help and your reporting. I need the BT Volume Control.
Okay, this if from a non-tech-type, so all disclaimers and waivers apply! And I apologize in advance if I am overly simple. Call me Forrest. Finally, I am doing this from memory (no pun intended), so hopefully I remember all of the steps.

    Here is what I did:

    1. Install Crackman v5 as you had done previously.

    2. Download Lyricidal's 5.0 files ("Just the working 5.0 Files: http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/5.0Files.rar") from the initial post and unzip them to a folder with WinZip or whatever you use.

    3. Open the 5.0 folder. There should be a Java folder in there.

    4. Open the Java folder.

    5. Select all of the files in the Java folder and copy them.

    6. Open the Java folder from your OS install (i.e., C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.141_P4.0.0.174\Java).

    7. Paste all of the 5.0 files into the Java folder (just right click and paste--do not select all and the paste).

    8. Click the "Yes to All" button when asked if you want to overwrite.

    9. Run the shrink program of your choice.

    10. Run loader.exe.

Seriously, folks, if I have missed anything or if I can say anything more articulately, please feel free to correct the post as needed!

I am re-installing V5 and will add the 5.0 Files exactly as instructed by you shortly.

I am in your debt and very appreciative.

Great articles over the past week, FYI. And those Supreme Protein bars must have crack in them or something, because they are just too good to be health food!

Curious which OS you used as the base? .132? .141?

I used .132 as the base do to .141 causing a huge battery and memory leak when I used it last.

After it settles in a bit, see if you are experiencing issues with the video camera. I had some issues with that when I used.132 as the base OS. Specifically, start/stop/lag/play/saving/even a lock-up and a spontaneous reboot. Other than that, I thought the hybrid was quite good !
