In an effort to feed my constant need to tweak, I am loading Lyricidal's 5.0 files into Crackman v5. Also, I am going to the .132 GPS as the consensus seems to be that the GPS on .141 was a bit leaky.

For me, Crackman v5 was working very nicely over the past two days.

Would be interested to know if you bump into any camera and especially video camera issues after adding the 5.0.0.93 files. I had an issue with these files when using Lyricidal hybrid over .132 and less so (but still there to an extent) when loaded over .141. But I'm not aware what camera/video is being used in Crackman v5. If possible, after you run it for a bit having used the video camera, check the event log and see if you're getting some errors reported (some are reported but able to be handled, others apparently not - at least for me).
    Thanks

I have shrunk out the event log. However, I did run the video camera a few times and noted a few issues. After pressing record, the timer did not show elapsed time; it stayed at zero until I paused the recording, and only then did the timer show the elapsed time. Also, the video controls did not switch until I pressed record again.

Crackman v5 with Lyricidal 5.0 files and .132 GPS

    Here are my initial impressions:

Booted up at 50.7mb (was booting at 50.0 mb on Crackman v5).

I lost only about 5 mb of memory with about 90 minutes of Internet and media player (music) usage (with a few e-mails during that time).

I did lose about 10% of battery during this time, but I have not performed the recommended three battery pulls to "settle" the OS. Historically, I have always had higher-than-normal power loss after an initial OS/hybrid OS install.

Browser and keyboard seem as fast as I can recall, though I cannot really say with certainty that this is faster than v5.

I think I may do the battery pull for s's and g's once I charge back up to 100%.

Well after testing all three Hybrids, I will be sticking with this one! So far it has the least memory leak (at 35mb with HEAVY usage today). Battery drainage is equal to or slightly less than .141v5. Everything else is great!!! No problems with radio, 3rd party apps, camera, video, music, BT....very pleased!! Thanks be to Lyricidal!!! Your best yet!!!

Okay, just has a Freaky Friday moment on Monday. I booted up at 50.7mb again after the third battery pull. Then, about thirty minutes in (with the BB connected to my PC), memory went UP to 52.7mb. "Not that there's anything wrong with that!"

We may have a winner, winner, chicken dinner here.

Crackman v5 with Lyricidal 5.0 files and .132GPS

Here is an update from earlier with some promised numbers:

Battery is at 67%. Discharge rate has been 4.4% per hour since 3 p.m. (it is now almost 11 p.m. here).

Memory is holding between 36mb and 38mb.

I have had UberTwitter on since 3 p.m. (set to update every 10 minutes). I think this is the biggest reason for the drain on power and memory. I have also had some texts, some e-mails and some web use.

I may try the same thing again tomorrow with UberTwitter closed to compare the difference. Also, I think I will not recharge tonight and just let it run. I have a scheduled daily reset at 4 a.m.

I hope this helps. If anyone has any suggestions as to "laboratory conditions," or if anyone would like to compare notes, please feel free to e-mail, PM or PIN message me.
