That is not the proper procedure to download an OS for your BlackBerry device....try to find an unsecured WiFi signal, (or secured WiFi ) and attempt to download the OS to your PC, then install.

The @ Mobile HotSpot feature can only be accessed from your carrier's data plan (BIS)

    Welcome to troy10,

You can connect to any device via Mobile Hotspot from you BlackBerry device, as long as you have configured the settings properly from your BlackBerry Curve 9360.

Try to keep in mind, troy10, when you say, "unlimited browsing", I'm curiously referring to your BIS data plan.

Depending on your data plan, you have to calculate how you plan to use mobile hotspot, as there are several factors involved.

Also, there is another leaked update, for the BlackBerry Curve 9360.

Download: Leaked: OS 7.1.0.190 For BlackBerry Curve 9360

Remember to delete the vendor.xml file(s), backup & wipe device properly. prior to updating/installing the newer OS.

    Good luck!

Let us know how everything works out for your Curve 9360.

As a friendly reminder, post your results in the correct area of the Forum.

Leaked: OS 7.1.0.190 For BlackBerry Curve 9360

On a personal note, I have installed OS7.1.0.190 on my friend's Curve 9360, using BBH-Tool updated to v2.4.9.5 , and saved her almost 35% of additional application storage, after everything was said and done with the custom installation.

I should remind you and others when using such a tool as I have posted for you, please use caution when attempting to modify any OS, regardless if it's an official, or leaked.

There's the possibility of bricking your BlackBerry device, and it's a very unpleasant experience.

I provide you the tools to make your device better, but please remember to always back up your BlackBerry device prior to any modifications.

Thank you, and good luck my friend.
