Official OS 6.0.0.546 from DU has reached the Curve 9300 device. If you have a 9300, get out that USB cord and give your a device a fresh OS. Don't forget to drop a comment below and let us know how it's working out for you.

Installed it and working smoothly but of course it's a fresh OS so I have to wait a couple of days to see how it goes

Not quite sure, though I'm pretty sure it stands for Dubai, where the company is based.

Too bad this isn't for the 8520, then I would have an operating system from my native carrier for the first time.

Actually, OS5 isn't that bad, and my 8520 is BLAZING fast. I think OS 5 is comparable to OS6, and the main advantage of OS5 over OS6 is the app screen, IMO. Give me my app screen over the Tray any day.

Totally agree ! BTW 8520 is one of the best BBs it's very solid and also OS 5 is a solid OS and from the best .. Before upgrading to OS 6 I had been using it till I found a good build of OS 6 that can be compared with the custom OS 5

OS 7/PlayBook OS takes care of the speed issues.

True, but its not like my 8520 will get to have OS7 on it right?

This build is generally good :
1- Battery Life : It's Solid .. Min. Discharge rate : 0.1/hour .
2- Memory : This maybe the only worst thing in this build .. suffers from few memory leaks.

Actually I don't talk a lot ! Maximum 20 minutes .. But I think it's great.

I stick to anything that has its curves

Are you getting the 9900? It looks awesome, but I'm not sure how the tiny touchscreen will hold up.

The more I think about it, the more I'll get the Bold Touch. The touchscreen will be more for a better browsing experience and gameplay more than anything.

I've tested in talk time .. The battery discharge rate while talking is about 1 % every 10-15 minutes
