no.. are you running a 3rd party theme?
I upgraded from 4.6.0.301 on my T-Mobile Germany branded Bold to this and I expected the user interface to look something like this (3d buttons, menus etc):
Instead it still looks flat like on OS 4.6. My Storm got the facelift with OS 5 and I have seen some screenshots of Tours.
No facelift yet for the Bold or something wrong with my installation?

Viigo Lite is working fine for me, make sure that when you choose an article that you click the menu button and click Full article and you should be able to scroll through the article with no issues.

Yes, I thought that might be the culprit but for some reason I thought it was doing the same thing with the stock theme. Just tested it and it is the Theme that's the issue. Looks like the text font is one or two sizes too large for the buttons to display correctly.....er this theme is the best i've found so far and I'm EXTREMELY picky about themes.
We pull batteries, swap bezels, break contracts, and stay up all night. We change OSes like we change underwear. If our phones could make us fly, we still wouldn't be satisfied. We're cut from a different cloth. A better breed. We are BlackBerry.

one thing i noticed for sure.. the battery life on this build is GREAT... heavy usage since 7:30am this morning and now... 2:12pm only went down 1 bar..
BB App World keeps disappearing for me....I'll reboot and it will be gone, reboot again and it will be there.... the version I've had installed and reinstalled is 1.1.0.19.......
its buggy?
It is a little buggy. The currency is in a foreign language and when restoring or rebooting your phone it does not stick, but I have an OTA for anyone that needs it.
Download BlackBerry App World

Along with the issues with App World.... AOL Instant Messenger won't even install, and also Facebook & Myspace seem to disappear whenever App World does and get archived..... MSN Messenger works fine, as does Yahoo! Fantasy Football '09, BigTinCan Buzz Me, Poynt, ScoreMobile, Unsynced, Pandora, BT Blackjack, FlashLight, and WeatherEye.
Checking now to be 100% certain I have the newest versions of AIM, FB, and Myspace....

Ok, looks like I found out the issue, if you previously had BB App World on your device it will still have some of your archived programs associated when you install on the new OS- at least it did for me. DELETE ALL OFF THEM. Re-download them and be sure you have the latest version FRESHLY installed.
If you try to install or run Facebook BEFORE version 1.6.0.22 it will jack up the latest version of App World and both programs will be very buggy... looks like a synergistic incompatibility between the two possibly. So basically don't even try to install any version of FB before 1.6.0.22
I'm now successfully running App World 1.1.0.19 with a working Facebook 1.6.0.22 and they both made it through a reboot or two and are still functioning great.

- The boot sequence appears to take longer than .190 (but I can deal).
- I like the Threaded SMS Messages; however, I dislike how it doesn't always clear the "New Message Indicator"—from the homescreen and the LED Indicator.
- Maybe its just a bug… But I am unable to change my homepage in Browser. The default is: "http://device.home", and its driving me nuts.
- I cant comment on the Battery Life, just yet. But when I was running .190, I personally was getting great Battery Life. I believe I was up to one-and-a-half days with "Moderate Use".
- I have Pandora, Evernote, Google Sync, Google Voice, and Google Maps currently installed on my device.
- I cannot get Pandora to work properly, as of this post. I am going to try to re-send the Service Books and hopefully that'll fix the issue.
Another thing I noticed… With .190, the BB Charging Pod would not work. It would display an incorrect voltage or something like that. This does not hold true with .238—Thankfully!
as far as the new message indicator not clearing, if you're talking about sms, i noticed you may have to physically scroll over the message just like a bbm. maybe that'll help
