Ok, so far I am pretty pleased with this OS and I almost never use anything but official releases.
Everything seems to be working except for facebook, which I do not care about but I badly want VVM on my phone.
I figured it was something on AT&T's end and spent a while working with them today on the issue, but I still can't get it to work.
I know there are people who have it successfully provisioned so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
Morganizer I DID IT lollllllll i am as happy as a kid. First time lollllll. Thanks for pushing me
Does anyone know if any of the programs that change the color of the indicator light for different alerts works with .190? I know Berrybuzz does not....anyone try blackberry alets, or any of the others....thanks.
Wirelessly posted (Bold 9000 )
Smart alerts does work?
BlackBerry by Choice!
Had a glitch while running this evening. Media player would not switch to the next song on my play list. Didn't get time to troubleshoot, just manually started the next song on my run. Halfway through it started working on its own. No biggie.
Glad I installed this beta, much better than .100 I was running. Although they didn't fix the browsing glitch how it shuts the web browser when using the back key, the browser overall still sucks, slow and buggy.
Viewing pictures are much cleaner, no more reaching the end and watching it spazzing out. The SMS threading was a shock, took a little to get use to but liking it now. Don't want to repeat what others have said, I'm just curious when they will come out the "official release" of the 5.0 platform. However can someone explain to me if they are working on this then why are they still working on the 4.6.x???
I haven't experienced the back key glitch with my browser and mine is really responses and renders pages very quickly. I may not be understanding how to reproduce this problem though.
5.0 official is likely a couple months out but we will see more leaks that will get better and better between now and then. By the end of the year there are devices launching with 5.0 official so they have to be getting close.
As for the 4.6, someone will probably have a better answer, but my $.02 is they will continue to try and fully optimize the 4.5, 4.6, and 4.7 versions until the 5.0 official comes to market. You would have to assume it will die then.
All my opinions only![]()
Been using this os on o2 uk for a few days now and can't find a fault with it. The threaded sms with emoticons rocks, the browser loads pages really fast and my battery life has been extended. In all this os is much smoother and more responsive than all the other v5's I have tried which is all so far. I will be sticking with it for sure. Just hope they update the apps to run on 5.2 soon. Just to add I have had no clock loading on screen constantly,no freezing, crashing or rebooting and no problems with the browser.

I was not feeling 190. I am waiting for the next great OS to come out.![]()
my missed calls are not showing up in the call logs. I get the icon on the homescreen and when i view folders i see them there but my logs dont show it. Any ideas?
BTW, .190 is is my first 5.0 and i'm loving it. The missed call thing is a little annoying but nothing i'm hoping 204 wont take care of![]()
The back key happens quite often from the .100 version. When clicking links here and there, normally you click the back button to take you back to the previous page. At times, when clicking the back button it automatically closes the browser and next thing you know you're back at the home menu. Quite annoying, it has happened on this .190 so I know this bug hasn't been worked out yet.
I can actually see their point in continuing improving the 4.x for the bold, however it should soon be only security and bug fixes once the 5.x is released.
