I would suggest checking application permissions...If those are all set to allow and it's still not working, may be try uninstalling and reinstalling the app and or OS. If issue persists, the app may be incompatible with the OS. Sorry to hear this....It can be frustrating.

I would like to know this too...as I know people had issues on Telus as well.

It's somewhat of an involved process. But there is a guide with instructions on how to do this.

If I'm not mistaken it's pretty much the same. You can load the browser, just not the service books. You can get them pushed by Telus. I think.

I cant use JiveTalk on this OS, anybody got the same problem?

there will no doubt be some 3rd party software that will not work. Some 3rd party developers have not caught up with 5.0

services books can be extracted from a older back up, to do that open dm and connect the phone, select backup and restore, advanced open the backup file, delete all contents but services books and there you go...

Can anyone post the cod files and alx files for Windows Live Messenger 2.0.48 and Google talk? Apparantly it works in os 5.0.0.190 but I cannot install it as APP world does not work and the OTA download says I do not meet the minimum requirements most probably because this is the BETA OS.

Morganizer, is .190 still running strong? I have AT&T same as you. I also went back from .130 because of the media/browser thing. I am very interested in .190 though. How are the pictures loading? Do they still scroll with the trackball? Have you noticed any other bugs yet? Any feedback would be great....I have .190 loaded onto my PC, just waiting to shoot it onto my BOLD. Thanks........

I am running .190 and i feel it is very strong. BBM 4.7. I have problem with gmail application and Quick pull. Else browser is good and fast. Of course it goes through media net.. but when on wifi it has all the options working. I think enhanced gmail is creating problems for me. Its pushing slow and does not load old messages. I think i will stick with .190.

That's very good to hear. Did you do the browser fix?.......it should give you back your BB browser. I heard Berrybuzz does not work...that is a bummer, but maybe one of the other "change alert colors" apps will work.

Ha ha......I got you. I was a little scared at first when I was on .130 and did the browser fix, but if you follow the instructions its pretty easy. The problem was that in .130 it broke your video & music player, but apparantly in this build it does not, so you just fix it and you are good to go.

let me know what you find regarding other 3rd party apps. Berrybuzz, quickpull PRO, TweetGenius & Pandora are the main ones for me. I can live without VIIGO and googletalk for a while.

1. Yes .190 is still running strong

2. Pictures loading quickly and yes the trackball scrolling still works.

3. No other bugs other than initially reported. Very stable. The application compatibility issues are not the OS's fault, people tend to forget that. It's the applications that are not compatible since the build 'technically' doesn't exist yet they don't bother making compatible software available.

4. App memory bottoms out around 39MB on my device and battery life is very good to excellent when utilizing the 2G option which I do almost all the time since I'm on WiFi at work and home.

5. It is by far the best/most stable 5.0 to date. Much better than .130 and .143. Give it a go you can always downgrade

BerryBuzz does not work. I don't use the other ones you listed. Also you are correct, the media problem is not present on this build. The browser fix only has to be done once and it sticks.
