Another one? Its Christmas for the Blackberry lovers!!! So far we have seen a 5.0 OS for the Storm AND the Tour tonight and now we can add the Bold to the list. Again, Kevin at Crackberry is being very nice to all of us tonight. He has let lose the 5.0.0.190 OS for the Bold!!

From what I heard there is threaded sms included in the bold and 8900 versions

Register your Host Routing Table.

Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register Now.

he everybody. Downloaded 5.0.0.190 works well except BBM Any suggestions? No tab browsing but thats ok. Any possible OTA link still live for BBM 5.0 Really miss that.

BBM5 Will not work on .190 period. You will lose BBM completely if you attempt to install it. Will lose contacts and have to start fresh.. So hopefully you all back up your information regularly before trying it. Stay safe and be happy with BBM 4.7 on .190

I gave .190 a try but I found my Bold very unresponsive and the timer icon was on the screen more often than not.

Pity, because the threaded SMS looked great, would have happily lived without FB, BBM and BerryBuzz if I didn't have the problem I saw.

That's not to say that it'd be the same experience for everyone of course...

not a problem at all.. id be happy to help. but unfortunately theres not much i can actuallly help you with. because .190 will come with 4.7 BBM on it already .. so you will see it once you install it. BBM 4.7 is very similar to 4.6. the difference is that on 4.6 it doesnt show "available" or status messages underneath it. on BBM 4.6 it will not have this

In fact in my applications list it says BBM 5.0.0.8. No BBM 4.7in list. thats strange.And also my desktop manager is playing up. Not letting me go back to .130:no::no:

did you have bbm 5.0.0.8 installed on your .130 build? if so, the update will NOT remove that, it just will not work.. does BBM show up at all.. a BBM icon or anything besides just in application list? shoot me a pm il help ya out

yes i installed over .130 and there is no icon too. Just like BB maps on AT&T. BTW what is PM? is it PIN MESSAGE?

meant private message on the forum here. If you dont know how to do that just leave another post here. But i can help you get 4.7 running on your bold for sure. 5.0 will not work period.
